Twinning with my Dogs – Crochet Bow Tie
Happy New Year!!!
Hi everyone it has been a while. I had a little break the holiday season and I’m back!
I have been crafting and what a way it is to start the year! How are you starting yours?
My first entry this year is about my New Year gifts to my fur babies! I actually wanted to make a lot to give away to my cousins’ dogs as well.
But I wasn’t able to do that because I had limited time and attaching it to the dog’s collar myself is imperative.
I got this idea because we found this satin bow tie that we attached to Elbi and Viva.
It made them so cute but it was short-lived because it was destroyed by them.
So what I did was, I made one for Elbi and Viva. Then I was jealous so, I made one for myself too!!!
Here are the materials I used for this project
This is a indophil yarn I bought from Momknittycrafts. That shop is just so accomodating. They sent me pictures before shipping and also gave me a freebie!
I also used 3.00mm hook, thread scissors (it’s already rusting) and tapestry needle.

For Elbi’s Bow Tie, I directly attached it to her collar. That was so cute.
Luckily, she was asleep when I finished it so I took the opportunity to take a picture of her.

Isn’t she soooo cute! Hahhaha. And yes, that is really how she sleeps.
Sure enough, when I wake up, Viva and Elbi is already playing with that bow tie. They detached it from Elbi’s collar and are playing with it.
Poor bow tie. Well, Viva’s bow tie, on the other hand, was also finished that night.
She was also already asleep when I finished the bow tie. However, when I try to put it on her to take a picture, she glared at me.

So I decided to back off and leave her to sleep in peace.
Nevertheless, I still took her photo in the morning. And boy was it super cute.
She was even smiling HAHAHA.
Viva soooo sooo cute and pretty!
I was sooo jealous so I made one for me too!
I attached it to a simple wire headband I have!
