Post-timeskip Chopper-Inspired Beanie and Face Mask Set
Here is another anime inspired crochet creation!
What’s more exciting is it’s inspired by my all-time favorite anime, One Piece!

In the anime, when they first went to Sabaody, the Strawhats had an agreement to meet back in that place after 3 days. However, they became separated by Kuma. They were sent to different places.
While the crew find ways to get back to Sabaody as agreed, the Paramount war happened, and Luffy suffered greatly with the loss of his sworn brother, Ace. Jinbei and Rayleigh managed to save Luffy, and proposed that he and his crew member train for 2 years.
So he went to do something that would catch attention and was in the newspaper with big letters on his arms that say: 3D2Y but the 3D had a big X mark on it. So it meant, meet back not in 3 days, but in 2 years. The whole crew trained themselves in their own different ways and went to Sabaody after 2 years! and among them is Chopper!
Even before the timeskip, Chopper showed a cute and bubbly personality. Of course, he was tough and strong when he needed to. After the timeskip, his hat changed its appearance.
Before it was just pink with an X mark. Now, it is round and blue, except for the pink part that had the X mark.
I found it really cute! and I decided to make a crocheted beanie inspired by that!
After the crocheted beanie was done, it felt lacking for me, so I decided to make a face mask that would match the beanie. Because of the pandemic, I think it is a great idea!
I contemplated whether or not I should add something that’ll resemble Chopper’s horns but I was scared I might ruin it as it might sag.
Besides, it already is so so cute! I don’t have horns like Chopper, but I have the same hat!
