My Crocheted Dress
It has been a while since I made this dress but I haven’t really written anything about.
It was actually a long time project that I have stopped on working for quite a long time because I became quite busy with school stuff.
But since the quarantine has started last March, and we had a lot of time, I decided to continue this big project I had in mind.
I wanted to make another crochet dress. It was the second crochet dress that I made. I am so happy about the result!
There were challenges, of course. I ran out of black yarn at the end. It was still too short and my yarn won’t be enough.
My fix? I got a couple of black leggings that I don’t use anymore and sewed it at the bottom part.
I don’t know how to cut evenly so I asked my mother to help me.
Then, I realized another problem; when I sewed the cloth on the dress, The seam was in front and it was very visible.
I decided to make it look like ruffles to hide that nistake.
And after all those, I finally created it.
I asked my cousin to photograph me wearing that.
I even forgot to wear the earrings I brought to pair it with.
Nevertheless, it still is beautiful right?
