Blanket Sweater
Blanket Sweater – inspired by mamainastitch.com and mooglyblog.com
Hello everybody. It has been a while since I last posted. But anyway, last summer I stumbled upon a blog about crocheting. And my! It is so pretty and so complete. Name it, patterns, tutorials, compilations of works, even from other crocheters. I liked it so much. It is like a google for crocheters like me. 😊 It is none other than mooglyblog.com
And of course, I found a pattern that I would really like to do! I found it on a link that Moogly provided. The title is Easy Blanket Sweater by mamainastitch.com
I said to myself that when I save up, I’ll buy lots of yarn and do it! I mean seriously! I like it so much. I want to try it.
And when I did find some savings, I bought some yarn. And my! I also found a new store of yarn. It is different type of yarn but it is indeed beautiful and very cheap also. I bought 3 balls of yarn from Lacion General Merchandising in black color.
My crocheter friends told me that the name of the yarn is Baguio Yarn. I thought it would look good on the pattern that I liked. And ta dah!!!!
I did everything that the pattern said. The only difference is that I used Baguio Yarn and 6.5mm hook.
I posted it on my facebook page and my! The responses are overwhelming! I swear I never expected the response to be that much. At present I already sold 6 pieces of this.
I also adjusted its size by requests of the buyers. Like for example, a mother wanted to order three, one for her and for her twin 8-month old babies.
Even though I was not able to photograph the finished product, I still remember my feeling when the twins tried it out and fit them perfectly!!!! It is so fulfilling and they are so cute!!! <3
